The 2026 Extremes Tracker is a static informational site. We do not run user accounts, and we do not ask for your name, email, or any personal information. We do not sell personal data.
We use a single first-party cookie (browser local storage) to remember whether you dismissed the cookie notice. Map tiles are loaded from Esri's servers and the Leaflet library from a CDN; those third parties may set their own cookies or collect standard technical logs according to their own policies.
We plan to display ads (e.g. Google AdSense) to support the site. Advertising partners may use cookies to serve personalized ads. When ads go live, you can opt out of personalized advertising via Google's Ads Settings or aboutads.info, and this policy will be updated with the exact vendors in use.
We do not currently run analytics. If that changes, this policy will be updated.
